Why do you believe in the Jamestown/Stutsman County Development Corporation?

Over its 30-year history, JSDC has proven to be vital for economic growth within our community. JSDC plays a crucial role in attracting new businesses that meet the needs of our community, which in turn creates jobs and diversifies the community. The JSDC also provides valuable support to existing businesses by helping them expand, innovate, and thrive. The JSDC staff possesses in-depth knowledge of our local community and a strong understanding of economic development. The staff provides invaluable guidance and support to businesses at all stages. The JSDC's dedication to a thriving community is essential for the continued success of Jamestown/Stutsman County.

Why did you want to serve on the JSDC Board of Directors?

My primary motivation to serve on the JSDC Board of Directors is my desire to give back to the community that has provided my wife and me with so much. I believe serving on this board allows me to contribute directly to the economic prosperity of Jamestown/Stutsman County. By actively participating in business attraction and retention efforts, I hope to play a role in continuing the success of this community for generations to come. My primary motivation to serve on the JSDC Board of Directors is my desire to give back to the community that has provided my wife and me with so much. What are the benefits of living and/or working in Stutsman County?

Stutsman Country offers a fantastic quality of life. You get the best of both worlds, a friendly small-town atmosphere with access to all the amenities of a thriving economy. As an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy chasing pheasants with my dogs, spending time in a tree stand or out fishing on the Jamestown Reservoir. It’s a great place to build a career, raise a family, and enjoy a fulfilling life.
